Who operates the app

Guest collections
Your films, viewing states and comparisons stay in this browser. We do not upload guest collections for statistics. Clearing site data can erase them. Individual requests, such as movie searches, are processed by the server.
Google accounts
We receive and store your Google account identifier and display name to recognize your account. We do not request your email, contacts or files, or store your Google password or access tokens. Your private collection, comparison history and ranking checkpoints are stored on the server to sync devices. Your device can keep a copy for offline reading.
Email accounts
If you choose email sign-in, we store your email address as your account identifier and send a verification code through Resend. Codes expire after 10 minutes; we store only a digest bound to your browser cookie. Short-lived hashed email and client-IP counters limit abuse. Expired challenges and counters are removed during startup and hourly maintenance. Your email account has the same server collection and deletion controls as a Google account. Google and email accounts are separate; no automatic linking occurs.
Owner statistics
The operator can see account display names, creation dates, last collection-save dates, collection sizes and comparison counts, plus aggregate movie preferences. These reports use data already saved for the app. We add no click, visit or screen-view history, advertising trackers or fingerprints. Guest visitors are not included in registered-account counts. Small-group aggregates are not guaranteed anonymous.
Public sharing
Only Create public link publishes your selected films and their order. Your name and other private history are excluded. Links last at most 30 days, sometimes less when movie metadata expires. Visitor challenge results stay in the tab until explicitly published or carried into an empty guest collection. Downloading an image does not publish it to our server. Social platforms and recipients may keep copies and cached previews after a link expires.
Feedback
We use feedback to respond to requests, fix bugs and prioritize translations. Messages, category, requested language, app language/screen and optional contact details are kept for up to 90 days. Only if you select the optional checkbox on a bug report do we also retain browser, OS and device families to diagnose the problem. Browser language preferences are used locally to suggest a requested language and are not sent with feedback. You can submit feedback without diagnostics. Feedback submitted while signed in may be linked to your account. Notifications containing feedback, any opted-in diagnostics, contact details and display name are also sent to the operator through Telegram. Internal account IDs are not forwarded. Telegram copies require separate deletion. Please avoid including sensitive information.
Browser storage and other services
Secure session cookies support sign-in for up to 30 days. Local storage holds collections, settings and progress; caches support offline use. Google processes sign-in and TMDB supplies movie data and posters. Direct poster requests disclose your IP address to TMDB. The server and hosting provider process IP addresses for request delivery, security and possible technical logs. Social buttons open the chosen service only when clicked; that service then applies its own policies.
Retention and deletion
An account collection is not automatically removed merely because you stop using the app. Currently it remains while the account exists; you can delete it in Settings. Settings lets you export your data and delete your account. Deletion removes its data, comparisons, linked feedback, sessions and public links from the live database. We do not create a separate archive of deleted comparisons; live aggregates change too. Older backups, offline devices and copies in other services may retain data longer. Backup and technical-log retention depend on hosting configuration; contact us above for details or a request. You control files you download.
Your requests
Contact Menu → Send feedback in the app to request access, correction, export, deletion or to object to data use. Specific rights depend on applicable law. Changes to data use will be reflected here. The app currently has no ads or donations.
Changes to this policy
We will update this notice and explain material changes before introducing the corresponding data use. Where a new purpose requires separate consent or another legal basis, we will establish it before processing starts. Accepting service terms does not itself provide consent to optional analytics, research or marketing.
