About the app
This Or That is a free personal project for comparing movies and sharing rankings. There are currently no ads or donations. Availability is not guaranteed; keep your own backups.
Your contributions
You retain any rights you have in content you submit. We use it to operate the app, sync your collection, publish what you explicitly choose and produce the private reports described in Privacy. These terms do not grant blanket permission for future uses of your personal data or remove your data-protection rights. Account deletion removes its comparisons from the live database.
Responsible use
Share only what you are comfortable making public. Do not abuse the service, bypass security or submit unlawful material. Copies published or downloaded by others cannot always be recalled.
Movie content
TMDB supplies movie information and posters; the respective rights holders retain their rights. These terms do not grant a separate license to reuse posters. The app is not affiliated with TMDB, Google or social platforms.
Export and deletion
Settings lets you export your collection and delete your account. If we later request agreement to materially changed terms, you may decline and request data export or deletion without accepting those changes: Menu → Send feedback in the app. These terms do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to exclude.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when app features, security requirements or applicable law change. Material changes will be explained in advance with an effective date; where fresh agreement is required, we will request it before applying the corresponding changes. Minor clarifications may not require fresh agreement. Updating these terms does not automatically authorize new uses of previously collected personal data.
